I am an enthusiastic supporter of and an active participant in environmental and wildlife initiatives. EcoThrive’s approach to sustainability in the water and sanitation sector utilizes microgrants to entrepreneurs for installation and maintenance of facilities. Often, facilities are installed without a plan for ongoing maintenance, so the systems fail. The EcoThrive program creates a positive economic impact and revenue stream that ensures long term sustainability and engages the local population in achieving that objective.
