Project Summary

EcoThrive Initiatives is proud to support the work of Tigal Water Splash in this project.

In total, we have repaired 13 broken pumps and replaced rusted rods in 2 pumps to restore functionality. However, most of the 148 installed pumps in Nakuru County remain non-functional, highlighting the urgent need for continued interventions.

Following these repairs, many school heads have reached out requesting urgent repairs for their schools as well. One headteacher posted in a WhatsApp group of school administrators, which has resulted in a high number of requests. Unfortunately, we currently lack the capacity and funds to meet all these demands.

We are grateful for your trust and support, which has made these repairs possible. Please let us know if there are any opportunities for additional funding or partnerships to help us expand our impact and restore more pumps.
